wow thanks for being a necrophile person and digging out this old thread
This was our way to filter out our participants for World Cup 2012.
Some judges (and us moderators) picked the first 4 participants out of all applicants and announced them.
After that every member of the community could pick their favorite spinners from the left applicants and therefore was able to take part in deciding the final WC-Team.
